SPRINGFIELD, Ill. – For the fifth time in program history, the University of Missouri-St. Louis women's golf team is headed to the NCAA Division II Women's Golf Championships.
The No. 25 Tritons punched their ticket with a sixth-place finish at the 15-team East Regional, held Monday-Wednesday at Panther Creek Golf Club in Springfield, Ill. UMSL turned in a 54-hole score of 929 (317-302-310) and moves along with Findlay, Indianapolis, Grand Valley State, Wayne State (Mich.) and Tiffin. The DII Championships will be held May 16-20 at Fox Run Golf Club in Eureka, Mo., which will be hosted by UMSL.
Findlay won the regional championship by shooting an 862 (284-294-284), while the Oilers' Gabby Woods took home medalist honors defeating UIndy's Elyse Stasil and Wayne State's Rebeca Vestman on the first playoff hole.

Zanderau finished in a tie for 15th with a score of 225. Brunell shot rounds of 81, 72, 72 while Zanderau had rounds of 77, 71, 77.
UMSL also advanced to the NCAA Championships in 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2022.
