WINONA, Minn. – The No. 21 University of Missouri-St. Louis men's golf team continued play at the NCAA DII Midwest/Central Regional on Friday by shooting a 299 at the Bridges in Winona, Minn.
The Tritons sit in a tie for 13th place and are 12 strokes behind Ashland and Harding for sixth at 584.
All participants in the Midwest/Central Regional will compete through 54 holes of competition. At a minimum, the top six teams and the top two student-athletes not with an advancing team from each regional will advance to the finals, May 22-26 at Avalon Lakes in Warren, Ohio. The finals will be hosted by the Mountain East Conference and Avalon Lakes at the Grand Resort.
Freshman
Leo Baudry shot a 73 to lead UMSL in the second round.
The Tritons begin teeing off in the final round at 9:10 a.m. on Saturday.
