Victoria Klausner shot a 71 in the second round of the DBU Classic at Wildhorse Golf Club at Robson Ranch in Denton, Texas on Monday. The 24th ranked Tritons are in 14th place with a 36-hole score of 610 (309-301) heading into Tuesday's final round.
Klausner started her round with three birdies in her first five holes but had three bogies on the front nine to drop back to even par through 12 holes. She birdied the par 3 14th hole to finish at one under par.
Wilma Zanderau shot a 75 on the day with a pair of birdies. She shot an even par 36 on the front nine and a 39 on the back nine and is tied for 25th overall with a score of 147.
Juliette Lecomte turned in a score of 77 in her round with birdies on the par 4 first hole and par 5 12th hole.
Linn Thornqvist finished her round with a 78 while
Ebba Wernered had a score of 83 in her round.
Dallas Baptist holds a two-shot lead over Saint Leo (Fla.) heading into Tuesday's final round. Saint Leo's Olivia Deakins is the individual leader and has a three-shot lead over Barry's Nina Klug.
The final round of the DBU Classic gets underway at 8 a.m. on Tuesday.
