ST. LOUIS – The 24th ranked University of Missouri-St. Louis women's golf team finished 14th with a score of 912 (309-301-302) at the Dallas Baptist Classic on Tuesday at Wildhorse Golf Club at Robson Ranch in Denton, Texas.
Wilma Zanderau finished in a tie for 16th with a score of 218 (72-75-71). She finished with four birdies in her round to turn in the lowest score of the day for the Tritons.
Juliette Lecomte had a score of 230 (77-77-76),
Victoria Klausner finished with a score of 235 (86-71-78),
Linn Thornqvist shot a 238 (83-78-77) and
Ebba Wernered had a score of 250 (77-83-90).
Saint Leo's Olivia Deakins was the individual medalist finishing with a score of 207 (-9) and Findlay won the team championship defeating Dallas Baptist in a one-hole playoff.
UMSL is back in action on Monday (Oct. 2) competing in the Beall Fall Invitational at the Findlay Country Club in Findlay, Ohio.
