FINDLAY, Ohio – The University of Missouri-St. Louis women's golf team finished second out of 18 teams with a score of 882 (295-288-299) on Tuesday at the University of Findlay's Beall Fall Classic at the Findlay Country Club in Findlay, Ohio.
The Tritons score of 882 is second best for 54 holes in school history. Senior
Juliette Lecomte was named to the All-Tournament team finishing tied for fourth.
Lecomte shot a 75 in her final round to finish with a 54-hole score of 217 which is tied for ninth best in school history. Junior
Wilma Zanderau shot a 74 in her final round to finish in a tie for ninth with a score of 220 while freshman
Emmy Wahl finished with a score of 73 and was 12th at 221. Freshman
Mayan Covarrubias and sophomore
Hillary Currier finished with scores of 230 and 232 respectively. Freshman
Hope Williams, competing as an individual, had a final score of 235.
Lynn's Amelia Ruiz was the individual medalist with score of 214 (72-71-71) and Findlay won the team title with a final total of 870 (290-289-291).
The Tritons return to the course next Monday and Tuesday hosting the National Preview at Boulder Creek Golf Club in Boulder Creek, Nev.
