ST. LOUIS – The University of Missouri-St. Louis women's golf team finished 14th with a score of 941 (317-317-307) at the Southern Invite on Tuesday at the Cypresswood – Cypress Course in Houston, Texas.
Sophomore
Wilma Zanderau led the way for the Tritons with a score of 231 (76-79-76) to finish in a tie for 39th overall. Senior
Victoria Klausner finished with a score of 235 (75-84-76) and was tied for 58th. Senior
Momo Kikuchi was 70th turning in a score of 240 (87-78-75). Her score was the lowest of the day for UMSL.
Dallas Baptist's Julia Garcia was the individual medalist with a score of 210 (70-72-68). DBU won the team title with a total score of 849 (289-282-278).
The Tritons return to the links on Sunday (March 10) as it hosts the Emerald Coast Collegiate at Sandestin – Baytowne Golf Club in Destin, Fla.
