ST. LOUIS – The University of Missouri-St. Louis women's golf team finished fourth out of 16 teams with a total team score of 909 (305-302-302) in the UMSL Spring Invitational on Tuesday at Norwood Hills Country Club in St. Louis.
Sophomore
Wilma Zanderau and junior
Juliette Lecomte led the way for the Tritons each finishing in a tie for ninth in the tournament. Zanderau shot a 73 (+2) in the final round to finish with a score of 225 (77-75-73) while Lecomte shot a 75 in her round to also finish with a score of 225 (76-74-75). Senior
Victoria Klausner finished in a tie for 17th with a score of 228 (77-74-77).
Findlay's Mary Kelly Mulcahy was the individual medalist with a score 210 (-3) as she beat UIndy's Anci Dy by one stroke. The Greyhounds won the team title with a total team score of 871 (293-284-294).
UMSL is back in action next Friday – Sunday (April 26-28) competing at the GLVC Championships at Oakwood Country Club in Coal Valley, Ill.
