COAL VALLEY, Ill. – The No. 2 seed University of Missouri-St. Louis women's golf team fell to top-seeded UIndy 3.5-1.5, on Sunday in the GLVC championship match/medal play at Oakwood Country Club in Coal Valley, Ill.
UMSL advanced to the championship match defeating third seeded Drury 3.5-1.5 in the morning semifinal round while UIndy beat Maryville 4.5-0.5.
The Tritons got match wins from

Ebba Wernered and
Juliette Lecomte while
Victoria Klausner earned a tie in her match against the Panthers.
Wernered won her match in the afternoon session with
Momo Kikuchi picking up half a point in her match.
UMSL will officially learn of its NCAA Tournament bid tomorrow afternoon when the field is announced. The NCAA East Regional will be held May 6-8 at Prairie View Golf Club in Carmel, Ind.
