ST. LOUIS – The University of Missouri-St. Louis women's golf team is in sixth place with a team score of 632 (317-315) after two rounds of the NCAA East Regional at Prairie View Golf Club in Carmel, Ind.
The Tritons are two strokes behind Davenport for fifth place and the final berth to the NCAA Women's Golf Championships in Orlando, Fla., May 21-25.
Wilma Zanderau continues to lead the way for UMSL shooting another 76 on Tuesday and is tied for seventh place on the individual leaderboard with a 36-hole score of 152 (76-76).
Juliette Lecomte shot a 78 in her round on Tuesday and moved up to a tie for 27th place at 158 (80-78).
Findlay's Erin Mulcahy is the individual leader through 36 holes with a score of 145 (74-71) and the Oilers are the team leader with total team score of 600 (299-301). They lead by UIndy by three strokes heading into Wednesday's final.
The NCAA East Regional concludes on Wednesday with the final round scheduled to begin at 8:30 a.m. (CDT). The Tritons will tee off starting at 9:15 a.m. (CDT).
