ST. LOUIS – The University of Missouri-St. Louis men's golf team finished third out of nine teams with a school record 54-hole score of 837 (281-274-828) in the UIndy Invitational at Broadmoor Country Club in Indianapolis on Tuesday. The Tritons had two golfers named to the All-Tournament team.
Sophomore
Dani Solavera tied the school record for 54-holes with final score of 205 (64-70-71) to finish in a tie for third while freshman
Logan Mayo was tied for fifth finishing with a 207 (71-69-67) which is good for third lowest for 54 holes in school history. Freshman
Trigg Lindahl came in for a tie for 11th at 210 (73-67-70) which is tied for eighth best in school history.
Ashland's Matthew McMullen was the individual medalist with a score of 201 (66-66-69) while Missouri S&T won the team championship with a team total score of 829 (275-278-276).
The Tritons are back in action next Monday and Tuesday competing at the Midwest Regional Preview at the St. Joseph Country Club in St. Joseph, Mo.
