ST. LOUIS – The No. 19 University of Missouri-St. Louis women's golf team is tied for ninth with a total team score of 589 (303-286) after the first day of the LeeAnn Noble Memorial hosted by the University of North Georgia at the Achasta Golf Course in Dahlonega, Ga.
Hillary Currier led the way for the Tritons shooting an even par 144 for the day. She finished her first 18 holes with a score of 77 but rebounded to shoot a 67 in the afternoon session and is tied for 12th place overall. Currier hit a hole in one on the par 3, 167-yard 11th hole in round two.
Emmy Wahl shot 146 (73-73) and is tied for 22nd while
Wilma Zanderau finished her day with a score of 148 (77-71).
Mayan Covarrubias shot 153 (76-77) and
Hope Williams had a score of 160 (85-75).
Anderson's Aly Francis is the individual leader with a score of 135 (65-70) and is one shot ahead of her teammate Olivia Pellerin at 136 (68-68). The Trojans are the team leaders with a total team score of 562 (278-284).
The final round of the LeeAnn Noble Memorial tees off at 8 a.m. (CDT) at the Achasta Golf Course.
