WEEKLY REWIND…
Men's Golf
The 22nd ranked Tritons finished second at the Midwest Collegiate with a total team score of 883 (295-290-298) last Monday and Tuesday at Rock Hollow Golf Club in Peru, Ind.
Benjamin Berger finished in a tie for seventh with a total score of 217 (71-74-72).
Men's and Women's Swimming
The Tritons opened their 2025-26 season with a dual meet at Saint Louis University last Thursday. The men fell to the Billikens 155-58 while the women lost 154-64.
Justice Beard won the 1,000 and 200 freestyle races and swam anchor on the 200 free relay team. On the men's side,
Mikael Larsson won the 1,000 free and was second in the 500 free while
Kaleb Suitor won the 100 fly.
Volleyball
The Tritons opened the home portion of their schedule last weekend with a sweep of Illinois Springfield on Friday and then rallied for a thrilling five-set win over Quincy on Saturday.
Alayna Santel paced the offensive attack averaging 3.88 kills per set in the two matches.
Women's Soccer
The Tritons extended their unbeaten streak to six with a 1-1 draw at No. 16 Maryville on Sunday.
Gwen Maggard scored the equalizer on a penalty kick in the 63rd minute for her second goal of the season.
Men's Soccer
The Tritons went 1-1 last week, defeating Christian Brothers 2-1 in its final nonconference game of the season last Friday behind goals from
Colton Milosch and
Melo Mensah in the contest. UMSL dropped a 5-1 decision at Maryville on Sunday with
Max Matarelli scoring his first collegiate goal in the 57th minute.
