ST. LOUIS – The No. 19 University of Missouri-St. Louis women's golf team is in sixth place with a total team score of 626 (312-314) after the first day of the William Beall Fall Classic at the Findlay Country Club in Findlay, Ohio.
Wilma Zanderau and
Emmy Wahl led the way for the Tritons on Monday with each posting a score of 153 and are tied for 11th on the leaderboard. Zanderau shot a 77 in the morning round and followed with a 76 in round two while Wahl shot rounds of 74 and 79.
Hope Williams had a score of 161 (80-81),
Mayan Covarrubias is a shot behind her at 162 (81-81) while
Hillary Currier finished the first day with a score of 165 (87-78).
Brooke Inchiostro, competing as an individual, shot 160 (77-83).
Ferris State's Kamryn Shannon is the individual leader at 142 (72-70) and is five shots ahead of Findlay's Ellie Yeazell heading into Tuesday's final round. The Oilers are the team leader with a total team score of 595 (298-297).
The final round of the Beall Fall Classic tees off on Tuesday morning at 8 a.m. (CDT) at the Findlay Country Club.
