ST. LOUIS – The No. 21 University of Missouri-St. Louis women's golf team finished third out of 14 teams with a total team score of 890 (297-295-298) on Tuesday at the Findlay Spring Invitational at Boone Trace Golf Course in Richmond, Ky.
Wilma Zanderau finished in a tie for fourth with a score of 217 (76-70-71) to lead the Tritons and was named to the All-Tournament team.
Mayan Covarrubias was tied for 10th with a 54-hole score of 223 (73-77-73) and
Hillary Currier finished in a tie for 17th with a score of 226 (73-75-78).
Anderson's Kennedy McGaha was the individual medalist with a final score of 204 (67-66-71) finishing eight shots ahead of her teammate Zoey Iglesias and Findlay's Mary Kelly Mulcahy who each finished with scores of 212. The Trojans won the team title with a total team score of 861 (291-281-289).
UMSL returns to the course on March 31 and April 1 competing at the Findianapolis Intercollegiate at Chariot Run Golf Course in Laconia, Ind.
