ST. LOUIS – The University of Missouri-St. Louis men's golf team is tied for seventh with a score of 302 after the conclusion of the first day of the Great Lakes Valley Conference Championships at Silo Ridge Country Club in Bolivar, Mo.
Sunday's second round was postponed until Monday due to weather. The teams will play the second and third rounds on Monday starting at 8:30 a.m.
Trigg Lindahl led the way for the Tritons shooting an even par 72 in the opening round and had three birdies in his round. He is tied for 12th overall.
Dani Solavera shot a 74 with four birdies and is tied for 21st.
Logan Mayo and
Benjamin Berger both finished with a score of 78 and are tied for 44th while
Leo Baudry is a shot behind with a 79.
Andy Hennen, competing as an individual, also shot a 79.
Drury holds the lead after the first round with a team score of 287 and is a shot ahead of William Jewell at 288. UIndy's Cameron Young sits atop the individual leaderboard with a 68 and is a shot ahead of William Jewell's Bryson Oots and Maryville's Kai Chun Hsu.
The top four teams at the conclusion of stroke play on Monday will advance to Tuesday's match play championships.
