ST. LOUIS – The University of Missouri-St. Louis softball team had three players named to the All-Great Lakes Valley Conference team as announced by the league office on Wednesday evening at an awards banquet at the 2025 GLVC Softball Championship Tournament.

Senior Courtney Settles and junior Hannah Tomlianovich were named to the second team while junior Jamie Widule landed on the third team.

Settles led the team in batting average at .431 before suffering a season ending injury in the middle of the season. She recorded 25 hits including seven doubles and drove in 12 runs while stealing five bases.

Settles was hitting .412 in league play at the time of her injury.

Tomlianovich finished the season as the team's top hitter with a .387 batting average with a home run, a triple, eight doubles and 19 RBI. She was named the GLVC and NFCA National Player of the Week after hitting .706 with 10 RBI in the sweeps against Quincy and Upper Iowa.

Tomlianovich hit .431 in GLVC action with a slugging percentage of near .600 with an on-base percentage of .447 finishing with an on-base plus slugging percentage (OPS) of 1.044.

Widule started every game this season hitting .347 with nine doubles, a triple and 22 RBI while stealing six bases. She had three hits in a game three times this season with two of those coming in GLVC contests.

Widule hit .330 in league play with her 14 of her 22 RBIs coming in GLVC action. She had a fielding percentage of .969 in conference play and assisted with the turning of two double plays.

The league also recognized 15 GLVC James R. Spalding Sportsmanship Award honorees, including senior pitcher/infielder Lexi Sherrick. The student-athletes chosen are individuals who have distinguished themselves through sportsmanship and ethical behavior. These individuals must also be in good academic standing and have demonstrated good citizenship outside of the sports-competition setting. The honorees are now eligible to become one of their school's two Spalding Sportsmanship Award winners, which will be announced later this month.

The Tritons and Drury were recognized as the GLVC Softball James R. Spalding Sportsmanship Award team recipients.

UMSL finished the season with a record of 19-26 including 12-16 in GLVC play.
