PENSACOLA, Fla. – The University of Missouri-St. Louis men's golf team is in eighth place with a total team score of 577 (295-282) after the first day of the West Florida Argonaut Invitational at Pensacola Country Club on Monday.
Dani Solavera led the way for the Tritons on Monday shooting a score of 139 (72-67) and is tied for seventh overall.
Leo Baudry,
Benjamin Berger and
Trigg Lindahl are all tied for 40th. Baudry and Berger both shot rounds of 75 and 71 while Lindahl shot back-to-back rounds of 73.
Logan Mayo finished with a score of 150 (75-75).
Georgia Southwestern's Joao Costa is the individual leader with a score of 132 (66-66) and holds a one-shot lead over West Florida's Per Ekelund who shot a 133 (67-66). The Canes lead the Argonauts by two shots heading into Tuesday's final round.
The final round of the Argonaut Invitational is scheduled to get underway at 9 a.m. on Tuesday.
