PENSACOLA, Fla. – The University of Missouri-St. Louis men's golf team finished eighth out of 14 teams with a total team score of 865 (295-282-288) at the University of West Florida Argonaut Invitational on Monday and Tuesday at the Pensacola Country Club in Pensacola, Fla.
Dani Solavera was the top finisher for the Tritons finishing 13th in the field of 81 golfers with a 54-hole score of 212 (72-67-73).
Trigg Lindahl had the lowest round of the day for UMSL shooting a 70 to finish in a tie for 33rd at an even par 216 (73-73-70) while
Benjamin Berger shot a 71 in his final round to finish a shot over par at 217 (75-71-71) and was tied for 38th.
Leo Baudry and
Logan Mayo finished with scores of 220 (75-71-74) and 224 (75-75-74) respectively.
West Florida's Per Ekelund was the individual medalist with a final score of 200 (67-66-67) and won by six shots over his teammate Trey Rouse. The Argonauts won the team title with a score of 830 (282-272-276).
The Tritons return to the links on Sunday (April 20) for the first two rounds of the Great Lakes Valley Conference championships at Silo Ridge Golf Club in Bolivar, Mo.
