UMSL Athletics Announces New Sponsorship with Lion’s Choice

ST. LOUIS -- The University of Missouri–St. Louis (UMSL) Athletics Department is proud to announce a new two-year partnership with Lion's Choice, a St. Louis-based restaurant chain known for its iconic roast beef sandwiches, award-winning fries, and delicious frozen custard.

As a company that started in Missouri and has been serving the St. Louis community for over 55 years, Lion's Choice shares a deep connection with UMSL's mission and presence across the state—particularly in St. Louis, where Triton Athletics continues to grow its impact and visibility.

"We are thrilled to welcome Lion's Choice as a sponsor of UMSL Athletics," said Holly Sheilley, Executive Director of Athletics. "Both Lion's Choice and UMSL share a proud Missouri story, rooted in tradition and community. This partnership strengthens our ability to provide the best experience for our student-athletes while also connecting fans to a beloved St. Louis brand."

Lion's Choice also shared their excitement for the collaboration:

"We are proud to team up with a crew that knows how to deliver the good stuff. We will fuel the Triton Athletes to victory." said Tina Bryan, Director of Marketing, for Lion's Choice.

This sponsorship will include partnership marketing, exclusive fan offers, and collaborative events designed to bring the excitement of Triton Athletics together with the flavor and tradition of Lion's Choice.

UMSL student-athletes and fans alike can look forward to unique activations throughout the year that celebrate the partnership of two Missouri institutions with strong ties to the St. Louis community.
