ST. LOUIS – The No. 19 University of Missouri-St. Louis women's golf team is in 13th place with a score of 301 after the first round of the DBU Classic at Oakmont Country Club in Corinth, Texas on Monday.
The teams were scheduled to play 36 holes on Monday but due to morning thunderstorms only 18 holes were played with the final 36 holes scheduled for Tuesday.
The Tritons were led by
Mayan Covarrubias and
Wilma Zanderau who each shot a 74 for the day and are tied for 30th overall. Covarrubias had a birdie in her round while Zanderau had two.
Hillary Currier shot a 76 and is tied for 47th,
Emmy Wahl finished with a 77 and
Hope Williams had a score of 78.
DBU's Madison Ude shot a 68 and is the individual leader. She is one shot ahead of Central Missouri's Mia Rallo. The Patriots are the team leader after finishing with total team score of 284.
Tuesday's action begins at 8 a.m.
