PENSACOLA, Fla. – The University of Missouri-St. Louis men's golf team is in a tie for 10th place after the first day of the Argonaut Invitational on Monday at the Pensacola Country Club in Pensacola, Fla. Play was suspended due to darkness and will resume on Tuesday morning before the start of the final round.
Logan Mayo led the way for the Tritons in the first two rounds and is at +2 through 35 holes of play.
Trigg Lindahl and
Ludvig Granlund each are at +3 in the tournament. Granlund had rounds of 73 and 74 while Lindahl shot a 73 in the morning session and was two over par through 17 holes in the afternoon round.
Benjamin Berger shot an even par 72 in round one and is at 72 in the second round with a hole to play.
Dani Solavera is eight over par through 35 holes. He shot a 76 in the opening round and is at 71 with a hole to play in round two.
West Florida's Cooper Tendick sits atop the player leaderboard with a score of 136 (67-69) and holds a one shot lead over Lee's Drew Zielinski and St. Mary's (Texas) Kongpop Kaikew. West Florida, the number one team in the Clippd Scoreboard rankings, holds an eight-shot lead over Lee with two holes left.
Tuesday's action gets underway at 9 a.m. with the completion of round two and the final round.
