Hannah Tse have all been named to the All-Great Lakes Valley Conference Women's Tennis team, announced Thursday by the league office.
Tse earns All-GLVC honors for the third time in her career. She owns an 11-6 singles record at No. 1, including 3-1 in conference play and is 18-1 in doubles with partner Lint. Tse was named the GLVC's Player of the Week twice this season.
Lopez earns All-GLVC honors for the first time in her career. She owns a 14-3 overall record this season and is 9-2 at No. 2 singles and 5-1 at No. 3, including 3-1 in conference play. She is 12-2 in doubles competition with Wileman at No. 2 and the duo has won seven straight doubles contests.
Wileman also earns All-GLVC honors for the first time in her career. She is 9-7 on the season primarily at No. 3 singles and has won four straight singles matches.
Lint claims All-GLVC honors for the first time her career as well. She is 12-4 on the season at No. 4 singles, has won seven straight matches and is 8-2 in her last 10 singles contests. Lint was named GLVC Player of the Week earlier this season.
Additionally,
Anna Favaron was one of 11 student-athletes named as their team's James R. Spalding Sportsmanship Award honoree for distinguishing themselves through sportsmanship and ethical behavior. These individuals are also in good academic standing and have demonstrated good citizenship outside of the sports competition setting. They are now eligible to become one of their school's two Spalding Sportsmanship Award winners, which will be announced at the end of the academic year.
UMSL finished the regular season with a record of 13-4 including 4-0 in GLVC play. The Tritons are the No. 1 East seed in this weekend's GLVC Tournament and will open play against No. 2 West Drury or No. 3 East Maryville on Saturday at 12 p.m. (CDT) at Center Grove High School in Indianapolis, Ind.
