MARYLAND HEIGHTS, MO. - Visiting Lewis found the back of the net with five minutes to play to post a 1-0 victory over the University of Missouri-St. Louis men's soccer team Friday afternoon in Great Lakes Valley Conference action.

George Thomson scored the game-winner for the Flyers when his cross went off the hands of a diving Patrick Ream.

Lewis, which improves to 4-7 overall, including 4-5 in the GLVC, owned an 11-4 advantage in shots, including a 6-1 edge in shots on goal. UMSL slips to 6-4 overall and 5-3 in the league.

Senior Luc Wells had the shot on goal attempt for the Tritons with a header in the box.

Ream recorded five saves.

UMSL returns to action Sunday, hosting Wisconsin-Parkside at 2:30 p.m.
