ST. LOUIS, MO. – The University of Missouri-St. Louis men's soccer team ended a three-game losing streak by upsetting No. 4 ranked Drury, 2-1, on Friday night in Great Lakes Valley Conference action.
It is the third straight year the Tritons have defeated a top-10 team at home. UMSL defeated No. 5 Rockhurst, 1-0, last year and No. 7 Missouri S&T, 4-0, in 2011. The Tritons improve to 4-5 overall with the win, including 3-4 in the GLVC, while Drury slips to 8-2 and 5-2 in the league.

Chad Haymart. Cherry then scored a goal of his own at the 75:11 mark off a pass from junior
Bill Lacy, drilling the ball into the deep left corner of the net. It was his team-leading third goal of the season.
The Panthers quickly converted a goal of their own, scoring just 23 seconds later for the final score.
Drury outshot UMSL by a margin of 10-8 and held a 5-3 edge in shots on goal. Junior
Nick Lenkman recorded three saves for UMSL.
The two goals allowed by the Panthers were the most this season. Entering tonight's game, Drury had given up just one goal in its last five outings.
UMSL is back on the field Sunday, hosting Missouri S&T at 2:30 p.m.
