ELSAH, ILL. - NCAA Division I foe Eastern Illinois spoiled the spring opener for the University of Missouri-St. Louis women's tennis team on Sunday afternoon, handing the Tritons a 9-0 defeat.

UMSL, playing in its first dual match of the 2012-13 campaign, returns to the courts next Friday-Saturday at the Principia College Tournament.
