SETTING THE SCENE
UMSL closes out a three-game roadswing on Thursday, traveling to No. 10 ranked Quincy. The Tritons then return home on Saturday to host Truman State in the regular season home finale. UMSL will honor its four seniors - Alyssa Like, Devonna Smith, Hazaria Washington and Jessica Zavoral - at the conclusion of the contest along with six senior men's players. UMSL has already clinched its bid to the 2014 GLVC Tournament, but is now playing for seeding. The Tritons enter the weekend sixth overall in the league standings. The top four receive a first round bye, while seeds five through eight will host a first round game.

SIZING UP THE TRITONS
UMSL is 17-6 overall, including 10-5 in the GLVC and sits in fourth place in the West Division - one game behind Truman State and two games ahead of Maryville. Three players average double figures, while another two net more than nine points per game. Senior Hazaria Washington paces the squad with 13.6 points per game and owns a team-best 47 steals. Senior Devonna Smith follows with 12.1 points and 8.9 rebounds per game, while senior Alyssa Like adds 11.0 points per game.

NOTCHING 17
UMSL's 17 wins are the program's most since the 1999-2000 squad posted a 19-11 mark. The Tritons have also clinched a winning season for the second straight year under head coach Katie Vaughn. The Tritons finished 15-12 last year in Vaughn's first season, marking the first time since 2005-06 that the program had a winning record. UMSL last had back-to-back winning seasons in 1999-00 and 2000-01.

SCOUTING THE OPPONENTS
No. 10 ranked Quincy is 21-2 overall, including 14-1 in the GLVC. The Hawks are riding a 12-game winning streak and are a perfect 13-0 at home this season. Quincy shoots 40.3 percent from long range in league-only games and averages more than six three-pointers per contest. Lucy Cramsey averages team-highs of 13.3 points and 7.3 rebounds per game, while Hannah Weedman follows with 13.2 points and 5.0 rebounds per game. However the Hawks have a balanced attack with eight different players having led the team in scoring in at least one game this season.

Truman State enters a Thursday home game against Maryville with a 17-6 overall mark, including an 11-4 GLVC record in its first year in the league. The Bulldogs lead the GLVC and rank third nationally in three-point field goal percentage at 39.8 percent and are 12th nationally with 8.0 three-pointers per game. Five different players score in double figures, including Allie Norton, who tops the team with 13.6 points per game. She also leads the team with 58 three-pointers and 3.7 assists per game.

SERIES HISTORIES
Quincy leads the all-time series, 31-18, and posted a 69-60 win over the Tritons earlier this season in St. Louis. The two teams split last season with the Hawks posting a 71-57 win in St. Louis before the Tritons snapped a 13-game losing streak to Quincy with a 47-42 road win.
Truman State holds a 16-14 advantage in the all-time series and posted a 70-55 win in Kirksville, Mo., earlier this season. It was the first meeting between the teams since the 1995-96 season.

... be the Tritons' 11th GLVC win of the season - the program's most since the 1999-00 team won 14.
... be the Tritons' second straight win at Quincy and hand the Hawks their first home loss of the season, while snapping their 12-game win streak.
