ST. LOUIS, MO. - The University of Missouri-St. Louis women's tennis team snapped a two-match losing streak on Monday by posting an 8-1 win over Emporia State.
The Tritons swept through doubles before taking five of six singles. Senior
Nina Bellanger claimed a 6-3, 6-3 win at No. 3 singles, picking up her fifth straight win, while sophomore
Caroline Claywell also made it five straight victories in singles, taking No. 6, 6-3, 6-4.
UMSL improves to 6-3 overall and will host McKendree on Wednesday at 2 p.m.
