LIBERTY, MO. - The University of Missouri-St. Louis women's tennis team recorded a 7-2 win at William Jewell on Saturday for its 12th win of the season, marking a program-best in 18 seasons under head coach Rick Gyllenborg.

The Tritons improve to 12-5 overall, including 4-1 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference.

Junior Lina Parra extended her win streak to nine matches in singles play, while junior Leanne Cantalupo made it six straight after bouncing back from a 6-0 loss in the first set to win 0-6, 6-1, 6-2.

UMSL travels to Lindenwood on Thursday in a nonconference match.
