SCOUTING THE OPPONENTSSouthern Indiana is 1-2-1 overall, including 0-1-1 in the GLVC after falling to Quincy (0-3) and tying Truman State (0-0) last weekend. Senior Carlos Mayser has the lone goal scored by the Screaming Eagles, while junior goalkeeper Auston Bruder has recorded two shutouts.
Illinois Springfield enters a Friday contest against Maryville with a 2-2 record, including a 0-2 mark in the GLVC after losses to Truman State (2-0) and Quincy (4-0) last weekend. The Prairie Stars offense is led by freshman Jack Coombes, who has two goals on the season.
