Box Score SPRINGFIELD, ILL. – The University of Missouri-St. Louis men's soccer team scored two goals in a span of 80 seconds to rally for a 2-1 Great Lakes Valley Conference win at Illinois Springfield Sunday afternoon. 
The Prairie Stars took a 1-0 lead in the 19
th minutes and held it until the 73:46 mark when junior 
DJ Bednar drilled home his third goal of the season off passes from freshman 
Nick Werner and junior 
Jon Huelsman. 
Werner then scored the game-winner at the 75:06 mark for his first goal of his young career. 
UMSL remains unbeaten at 5-0-1 and moves to 4-0 in the GLVC. The Tritons, who host Rockhurst on Friday at 7:30 p.m., sit in a tie for first place in the league standings with No. 11 ranked Quincy. Rockhurst entered the day in a three-way tie with UMSL and Quincy, but suffered a 2-1 overtime loss to Lewis. 
Illinois Springfield slips to 2-4 and 0-4 in the league. 
After being outshot 5-2 in the opening 45 minutes, the Tritons held a 7-2 advantage in the second half, finishing with nine attempts, including six on goal. Junior 
Tyler Collico recorded four shots, while Werner took three.

Nick Lenkman played all 90 minutes in goal, recording one save.
