Box Score ST. LOUIS, MO. – Visiting Rockhurst handed the University of Missouri-St. Louis men's soccer team its first loss of the season on Friday night with a 1-0 setback in Great Lakes Valley Conference action.
The Tritons fall to 5-1-1 overall, including 4-1 in the GLVC, slipping into a three-way tie for third place in the league standings. Rockhurst improves its ledger to 4-2 overall, including 4-1 in the GLVC.
The Hawks scored with just over eight minutes to play in the first half as Brian O'Neal's shot went to the far corner, past UMSL keeper
Nick Lenkman.
Despite allowing the one goal, Lenkman finished with five saves, including two breakaway one-on-one saves in the closing minutes that prevented the Hawks from adding an insurance goal.
Rockhurst outshot UMSL, 15-7, including 7-2 in shots on goal. The Hawks also had nine corner kicks to the Tritons' three.

Jon Huelsman and sophomore
DJ Bednar each finished with two.
