ST. LOUIS, MO. – The University of Missouri-St. Louis men's and women's tennis teams are both represented in the final installment of the Intercollegiate Tennis Association's (ITA) rankings, released on Wednesday evening.
The men wrap up the 2015-16 campaign ranked No. 45 nationally, their highest ranking of the year. Regionally, the Tritons finished sixth in the Midwest, while individually, freshman
Fabian Frank is No. 12 in singles, having posted a 20-7 record at the No. 1 position.
UMSL posted a 17-6 overall record and earned its third straight trip to the NCAA Tournament.
On the women's side, the Tritons finished ninth in the Midwest Region, while individually, freshman
Jennifer Hauer is 19th in singles. Hauer posted a 20-12 record in her first season. The doubles team of freshman
Salome Bleuler and sophomore
Patricia Maya is ranked seventh in the region. The duo were 14-5, including 12-5 at No. 1.
As a team, UMSL was 17-8 overall.
