SPRINGFIELD, ILL. – Senior Marina Prediger of the University of Missouri-St. Louis women's tennis team won the A Flight Singles at the UIS Tournament, played Friday and Saturday, as the Tritons opened the fall portion of its 2019-20 schedule.
 
Prediger defeated UIS's Ashley Long, 6-4, 6-4 to finish 4-0 on the weekend.
 
Also for the Tritons, Prediger and junior Leticia Lunge advanced to the A Flight Doubles final along with teammates sophomore Odette Beagrie and freshman Hannah Burth, although that match was not played.
