SETTING THE SCENE
UMSL returns home to the Mark Twain Building this weekend to host Southern Indiana and McKendree on Thursday and Saturday, respectively. The Tritons are coming off a three-game road swing and have played six of their last seven on the road.

UMSL will look to carry the momentum from last Saturday's 71-60 win at Lewis in which they handed the Flyers their first GLVC loss.

The Tritons are 4-4 at home, earning an 81-71 victory over Indianapolis on January 18.

UMSL is one of six teams tied for ninth place in the GLVC standings, along with McKendree. The Tritons are also tied for ninth place (with Southwest Baptist) in the Point Rating System, used to determine the field and seeding for the GLVC Tournament. Southern Indiana is fourth in both standings, while McKendree is 11th in the PRS.

ABOUT SOUTHERN INDIANA
Southern Indiana is 11-5 overall, including 7-3 in the GLVC. The Screaming Eagles are 4-2 in road games, with those four wins coming on the road.

UMSL-USI SERIES
UMSL is 9-34 all-time against Southern Indiana and has lost two straight and 15 of the last 16 meetings. The Screaming Eagles just edged the Tritons, 62-60, in St. Louis last year.

ABOUT MCKENDREE
McKendree enters a Thursday road game at Lindenwood with a 10-8 record, including a 3-7 GLVC mark. However, the Bearcats have won most of their games on the road, where they are 5-2.

UMSL-MCKENDREE SERIES
UMSL is 26-5 all-time against McKendree, including 8-1 since the Bearcats joined the GLVC. The two teams split last season, each winning on the road. McKendree recorded a 72-55 win in St. Louis, while UMSL posted a 69-64 win in Lebanon.
