ST. LOUIS, Mo. -- While the calendar has yet to flip to Christmas, the spring 2022 Tritons softball schedule has been published.

Last year, the Tritons compiled a 19-23 record (.452 winning percentage) while going 14-14 in GLVC play. This season, UMSL looks to build off that as it eyes a conference championship.

The 2022 campaign commences with a two-day schedule at the Alvy Early Memorial Classic, Feb. 11-12, in Bentonville, Ark. There, the Tritons will take the field against Wayne State, Arkansas Tech, the University of Texas at Tyler, and conclude against Missouri Western.

From there, it's off to the ESU Classic in Emporia, Kan., for five games. The Tritons will face Northwest Missouri State University, the University of Central Missouri, Concordia-St. Paul, Washburn University, Newman, and the host, Emporia State.

The conference schedule is slated to begin on March 11 at Illinois Springfield.

The April 19 showdown against the University of Central Missouri Jennies will be in Warrensburg. The home opener is March 19 against Truman State.

The Tritons conclude the regular season with tilts against Lindenwood, Southern Indiana, and McKendree.
