CHARLESTON, ILL. - The University of Missouri-St. Louis men's and women's track and field teams competed in the EIU Friday Night Special hosted by Eastern Illinois University on Friday, Feb. 18. The meet took place in the Lantz Fieldhouse.
Haeley Johnson ran the 60 meter dash turning in a time of 8.42 seconds to finish in 15th. Johnson aslo ran the 200 meter finishing 20th with a time of 30.29 seconds.
Kennedy Moore finished 15th in the 200 meter with a time of 28.67 seconds. Moore clocked in at 1:07.40 to finish 18th in the 400 meter.
Dominica Rooks ran the 200 meter in 29.08 seconds to finish 17th. Rooks finished 16th in the 400 meter with a time of 1:06.27.
Lily Wagemann placed 15th in the mile with a time of 5:45.81.
Lauren Bearden-Kyser clocked in at 6:52.79 in the mile to finish 18th.
Kayley Heeter ran the 3000 meter in 11:37.13 to finish 11th. Peyton Brueck finished 14th in the 3000 meter with a time of 11:57.21.
The UMSL men ran the mile only at the EIU Friday Night Special.
Gavin Love finished 15th with a time of 4:42.74.
Sam Savastino ran the mile in 4:48.54 to finish 16th.
Sean Ede finished 17th with a time of 4:52.19.
The GLVC Indoor Track and Field Championships take place Feb. 25 and Feb. 26 on the campus of the University of Indianapolis.
