ST. LOUIS – The University of Missouri-St. Louis men's and women's track and field teams competed this weekend at the Mule Relays on Friday in Warrensburg, Mo., and at the SIUE Cougar Classic in Edwardsville, Ill., on Saturday.
William Kaempfe finished ninth in the 5,000 meters on Friday at Central Missouri with a time of 14:44.57 while
Benjamin VandenBrink was 16th in the event in a time of 14:57.62.
Toby Middleton finished 11th in the 1500 at 3:57.15.
For the women,
Bridget Ragan was 23rd and
Ella Tynan finished 36th in the 1500 with times of 5:01.33 and 5:19.06 respectively.
On Saturday,
Gavin Love was the top finisher taking ninth in the 800 meters at 1:57.74 while
Caleb Leach took 12th with a time of 1:59.95.
Devon Fanning was 16th in the 3000 in a time of 9:25.95.
For the women,
Rebekah Vail finished 10th in the shot put with a heave of 11.08 meters (36'4.25"), was 23rd in the hammer throw at 32.98 meters (108'2") and 24th in the discus 22.50 meters (73'10").
Zoey Losch was 19th in the 3000 meters at 13:39.52.
The Tritons are back in action on Friday (April 25) competing at the Millikin Friday Night Invite in Decatur, Ill.
