ST. LOUIS – The University of Missouri-St. Louis men's cross country team finished 16th with a score of 449 points at the NCAA Midwest Regional at Angel Mounds in Evansville, Ind., on Saturday.
Senior
Benjamin VandenBrink was the team's top finisher in the 10-kilometer race at 10th with a time of 31:11.94 and an average mile time of 5:01.3. VandenBrink will now await word to see if his finish is good enough to receive an at-large berth to the NCAA Championships on Saturday (Nov. 18) at Missouri Southern.

Jacob Warner finished 35th with a time of 31:52.3, junior
Matthias Shelp finished in a time of 33:33.7, freshman
Emmett Johnson crossed the line at 34:01.01, sophomore
Jonny Key finished at 35:19.4, sophomore
Toby Middleton came in at 34:30.1 and junior
Sam Savastino had a time of 34:34.7.
Wayne State's (Mich.) Ransom Allen was the individual winner with a time of 30:38.0 while Grand Valley State won the team championship with a score of 48 points.
