INDIANAPOLIS – University of Missouri-St. Louis women's swimmer
Zara Konstapel picked up First Team All-America honors for the second straight year with her sixth-place finish in the 100 breaststroke on Friday at the NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships at the IU Natatorium in Indianapolis.
Konstapel qualified for the championship final winning the third heat with a time of 1:02.87 in the morning session. She had the fourth fastest qualifying time in the prelims. She swam out of lane six in the final finishing with a time of 1:02.59.
Konstapel will be looking to add to her totals on Saturday when she competes in the 200 breast beginning at 9 a.m. (CST) on the final day of the 2023 NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships.
