Konstapel Picks Up Honorable Mention All-America Honors In 200 Breast

INDIANAPOLIS – University of Missouri-St. Louis women's swimmer Zara Konstapel picked up her second All-America honors at the 2023 NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships with her fifth place finish in the consolation final of the 200 breaststroke on Saturday evening. She adds honorable mention honors after claiming First Team All-America honors in the 100 breast on Friday evening.

Konstapel swam out of lane one in the third of five heats in the morning prelims. She finished fourth in her heat and her time of 2:18.23 was the 11th fastest in the prelims. Konstapel swam out of lane three in the evening consolation final finishing fifth in a time of 2:19.07.

The Tritons scored 17 points at the championships and finished 27th overall.
