ST. LOUIS – The University of Missouri-St. Louis men's and women's track and field teams had eight top 20 finishes at the UCM Mule Relays on Friday at Walton Stadium/Kennedy Field in Warrensburg, Mo.
On the men's side,
Benjamin VandenBrink and
Jacob Warner finished fourth and fifth in the 5,000 meters with times of 14:48.29 and 14:50.92 respectively.
Gavin Love finished 14th in the 800 meters in a time of 2:00.38. Love also finished 14th in the 1,500 meters at 4:05.47 while
Michael Wright was 17th in a time of 4:06.15.
For the women,
Dominica Rooks finished 15th in the 400 meters with a time of 1:04.81 while
Lily Wagemann took 17th in the 1,500 meters at 5:04.64 and
Kayley Heeter was 20th in the 5,000 meters in a time of 19:54.54.
The Tritons return to the track next Saturday as they compete Dewey Allgood Quad in Rolla, Mo.
