WAIKOLOA, Hawaii – The 16th ranked University of Missouri-St. Louis women's golf team shot a 298 and is in second place after the first round of the Dennis Rose Invitational on Monday at the Village Course at Waikoloa in Waikoloa, Hawaii.
The Tritons were led by
Hillary Currier who shot a 73 in the opening round and is tied for fourth overall while
Emmy Wahl is tied for 10th with an 18-hole score of 54.
Juliette Lecomte is tied for 18th with a 75,
Wilma Zanderau is tied for 25th with a 76 and
Mayan Covarrubias shot an 81 and is tied for 52nd.
Cal State San Marcos's Madison Murr is the individual leader after 18 holes with a 69 while Simon Fraser University is the team leader by two strokes over UMSL.
The final round of the Dennis Rose Invitational tees off at 1 p.m. (CDT) on Tuesday.
