WAIKOLOA, Hawaii – The No. 16 University of Missouri-St. Louis women's golf team won the Dennis Rose Invitational with a 36-hole total team score of 591 (298-293) at the Village Course at Waikoloa on Tuesday.
Wilma Zanderau led the way for the Tritons finishing in a tie for fifth with a score of 147 (76-71) and was named to the All-Tournament team.
Hillary Currier and
Juliette Lecomte finished in a tie for 10th overall with respective scores of 149. Currier shot a 73 on Monday and 76 on Tuesday while Lecomte shot 75 in the first round and 74 in the final round.
Emmy Wahl finished in a tie for 19th at 152 (74-78) and
Mayan Covarrubias shot an even par 72 in her final round to finish with a score of 153 (81-72) to finish in a tie for 30th.
Cal State San Marcos's Madison Murr was the individual medalist with a final score of 137 (69-68).
UMSL wraps up its fall schedule this Friday and Saturday at the Southwest Airlines HPU Shark Shootout at Mauna Lai North Course in Kamuela, Hawaii.
