KAMUELA, HAWAII – The No. 15 University of Missouri-St. Louis women's golf team is in third place with a score of 295 after the first round of the Southwest Airlines HPU Shark Shootout on Friday at Mauna Lai North Course in Kamuela, Hawaii.
Wilma Zanderau and
Emmy Wahl are tied for 10th with a score of 73.
Mayan Covarrubias shot a 74 in her opening round and is tied for 18th overall while
Hillary Currier is tied for 26th at 75 and
Juliette Lecomte is tied for 29th with a 76.
Cal State San Marcos's Madison Murr is the individual leader at the hallway point with a score of 67 and is three shots ahead of her teammate Makenna Cabardo. The Cougars sit atop the team leaderboard with a score of 283 and are 11 shots ahead of Cal State East Bay.
The final round of the Southwest Airlines HPU Shark Shootout tees off at 12:30 p.m. (CDT) on Saturday.
