ST. LOUIS – The University of Missouri-St. Louis men's golf team is in 10th place with a score of 568 (283-285) after the second round of the NCAA Midwest/Central Regional on Friday at KickingBird Golf Course in Edmond, Okla.
Cyril Henault shot the low round of the day for the Tritons finishing with a 68 (-2) to move into a tie for 22nd overall with a 36-hole score of 140.
Leo Baudry shot an even par 70 and is tied for seventh at 137 (-3).
Ben McPherson shot a 72 on Friday and is tied for 39th at 142.
Henderson State's Alex Hadden sits atop the individual leaderboard with a score of 134 and holds a one shot over Ferris State's Caleb Bond and Nathan Kraymyk and Grand Valley State's Manuel Coe heading into Saturday's final round.
Harding University is the team leader through 36 holes with a total score of 551 and holds a two-shot lead over Grand Valley State. The top five teams in the final standings will advance to the NCAA Men's Golf Championships to be held May 21-25 in Orlando, Fla.
The final round of the NCAA Midwest/Central Regional begins at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday. UMSL begins teeing off at 10 a.m.
