DENTON, Texas – University of Missouri-St. Louis junior
Wilma Zanderau shot a 71 in the second round of the DBU Classic at Wildhorse Golf Club at Robson Ranch in Denton, Texas on Monday. The Tritons are in eighth place with a 36-hole score of 591 (292-299) heading into Tuesday's final round.
Zanderau shot a 35 with three birdies on the front nine and an even par 36 with two birdies on the back nine to move into a tie for sixth place with a score of 142 (71-71).
Sophomore
Hillary Currier shot a 74 in her second round sinking a bird on the par 5 eighth hole. She is tied for 33rd with a score of 149 (75-74).
Freshman
Emmy Wahl finished her round shooting a 76 with three birdies in her round including one the par four 18th.
Dallas Baptist's Madison Ude holds a one-shot lead over her teammate Ella Cheek for the top spot on the leaderboard. The Patriots have a 16-shot lead over Texas-Tyler for the team title.
Tuesday's final round is scheduled to tee off at 8 a.m.
