ST. LOUIS – The University of Missouri-St. Louis women's golf team finished ninth out of 13 teams with a total score of 884 (292-299-293) at the DBU Classic on Tuesday at Robson Ranch Golf Club in Denton, Texas.
Junior
Wilma Zanderau finished in a tie for sixth with a 54-hole score of 214 (71-71-72). She was followed by freshman
Emmy Wahl and sophomore
Hillary Currier who finished in a tie for 30th with scores of 222. Wahl shot rounds of 71-76-75 while Currier had rounds of 75-74-73. Junior
Juliette Lecomte and freshman
Mayan Covarrubias were tied for 48th with a score of 228.
Dallas Baptist's Ella Cheek was the individual medalist with a final score of 205 (70-68-67) and the Patriots were also the team champions with a score of 842 (277-285-280).
The Tritons are back in action on Monday (Sept. 30) at Findlay's Beall Fall Invitational at the Findlay Country Club in Findlay, Ohio.
