ST. LOUIS – The University of Missouri-St. Louis women's tennis team was picked to finish fifth while the men were predicted to finish sixth in the GLVC East Division Preseason Coaches Poll, announced today by the conference office.

The preseason polls were voted on by the league head coaches and ranks team in both the East and West Divisions. The 2025 season will feature a five-match divisional schedule in which every school plays every divisional opponent in a standard round-robin format.

The Triton men finished 9-12 last season, including 2-3 in conference play and advanced to the GLVC Tournament. UMSL returns two players from last year's team in juniors Tanin Ramnath and AJ Burrows

The women were 11-9 overall, 4-1 in the GLVC and advanced to the GLVC Tournament. They return five players from last season including juniors Hannah Tse and Anna Favaron and sophomore Aleksandra Lopez. Tse was named to the All-GLVC team in 2024 after going 13-8 in singles and 15-5 in doubles.

Both teams open their spring season next Friday (Feb. 14) hosting Michigan Tech.

The 2025 GLVC Men's and Women's Tennis Championship Tournament will be held at Washington Park in Springfield, Ill., from May 2-4.
