ST. LOUIS – The No. 20 University of Missouri-St. Louis women's golf team finished in tie for fifth out of 18 teams with a 54-hole total score of 886 (305-289-292) on Tuesday at the Sandestin-Baytowne Golf Club in Destin, Fla.
Wilma Zanderau led the way for the Tritons finishing sixth on the individual leaderboard with a score of 212 (73-70-69) while
Hillary Currier finished in a tie for 15th at 219 (75-71-73).
Emmy Wahl was tied for 29th with a two-day score of 224 (76-74-74).
Flager's Henriette Stranda was the individual medalist finishing with a score of 204 (69-65-70) winning by two shots over her teammate Stella Jelinek. The Saints won the team title with team score of 844 (287-276-281).
UMSL returns to the course next Monday and Tuesday (March 17-18) competing at the Findlay Spring Invitational at Boone Trace Golf Course in Richmond, Ky.
