ST. LOUIS – The No. 25 University of Missouri-St. Louis men's golf team finished 10th out of 20 teams with a final 54-hole team score of 859 (298-287-274) at the Las Vegas Desert Classic on Tuesday at Boulder Creek Golf Club in Boulder City, Nevada.
The Tritons score of 274 on Tuesday was the second lowest of the tournament behind only Florida Southern who shot a 272 in the final round.
UMSL had four individuals shoot in the upper 60s in the final round led by
Trigg Lindahl who shot a 67 to finish in a tie for 19th overall with a score of 213 (73-73-67).
Leo Baudry,
Dani Solavera and
Benjamin Berger each shot a 69 while
Logan Mayo turned in a 75. Baudry finished in a tie for 30th at 215 (71-75-69) while Solavera finished with a 217 (76-72-69) to finish in a tie for 41st.
Mayo was tied for 52nd at 220 (78-67-75) and Berger was tied for 70th with a 224 (78-77-69).
St. Mary's (Texas) Baptiste Touchard was the individual medalist with a 54-hole score of 204 (68-67-69) and Colorado Christian won the team title with a score of 836 (280-277-279).
The Tritons return to the course on Monday and Tuesday (March 24-25) competing in the Findlay Spring Invitational at Boone Trace Golf Club in Richmond, Ky.
